“A cup of tea would restore my normality."
~Douglas Adams, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
The custom of drinking tea has always been a ceremony full of reverance, serenity found in quiet thoughts or imbibed in soft music. The conversations that is inspires are full of the aromas of the elixir of life, love, family & good, frank advice.
I can recall my mother preparing a cup of tea as a part of our breakfast, a healthy addition that we were only allowed to drink alone so it would not disrupt our digestion.
My grandmothers, Miriam Gabriel and Philippa Farrell, both used tea as a means of introducing medicine to us, especially when we were constipated--- without fail!
Tea is beyond the cup or the glass that it is served in. Tea is above the quality of the leaf or the cut of the stem or the color of the flower... Tea is Life.
The Art of Making Tea is beyond boiling water and simmering leaves, yes indeed, it is far more important than that, for the "art" of "making tea" is about making relationships happen, friendships last & love flow.
Take some time out of the stress of your day to make a cup of tea or two, sharing it with someone you love or wish to help to rise & encourage Life to Happen!~
One amazing person said, in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy that “A cup of tea would restore my normality", and he was certainly right about that, for tea, rich in tannins & other amazingly healing components, is known to inspire balance while it detoxifies our body, and is believed to also bring synergy of mind & also Spirit. So, grandma knew exactly what she was doing.. :o)
Enjoy your day. Be Happy. Stay Blessed & by all means--- Drink more Tea.
